here were doubters. Doubters said that the Panthers could never beat the team with the best stats in NHL history, but it was done. I’m still not over that by the way. Who doesn’t love a good underdog story?
I’m still not over the Panthers beating the Bruins & after watching the first game against Toronto, I can literally see the determination this team has to win. The Bruins coach said Florida is a very determined group. When all players are focused on a single goal: winning & tuning out distractions it’s a recipe for magic.
The Panthers made the first goal against Maple Leafs (which by the way what a sad name for a hockey team..it doesn’t sound the least bit threatening in the slightest).
Montour dishes the puck back up to the top of the net, to tip the Cats over in a 4-2 win. It’s a happy ending to the game & a beautiful start to the series.
